Strengthening Civil Society to Advance Women’s Rights through Advocacy, Protection and Empowerment in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan Zero Exclusion
January 2020
December 2021

This project follows up the Action implemented in 2018-2019 and will be implemented in Tashkent and extended to the remote rural communities of the Bukhara, Fergana and Samarkand regions from 1st January 2020 to 31st December 2021. The aim of the project is to build the capacity of local CSOs in the target regions, thus enabling them to provide better support to women affected by domestic violence. Women will thus be able to access safe shelter, psychological, legal and social consultations and participate in reintegration programmes that will help them gain financial independence within their household and family.
