Implemented by ACTED and its partners – IMPACT Initiatives and local civil society organizations – this 36-month project aims to ensure economic security, economic and employment opportunities, and economic empowerment for women, girls and most vulnerable people in conflict-affected areas of Ukraine. Through livelihoods grants, IT scholarships, local economic opportunity assessments, capacity building of labour centers and civil society organisations, an interactive high school STEM awareness campaign, and support for community financing mechanisms and local social initiatives including daycare centers, the project aims to directly benefit 62,000 people: at least 65% will be women and girls.
