This two-year project aims to address the urgent needs and improve the resilience of communities facing the Lake Chad crisis in 9 villages in the department of N’Guigmi, Diffa region. Activities in the water, hygiene and sanitation sector will improve access to safe drinking water services for drinking, personal hygiene, cooking and other domestic use for the people living in the Karea site. Food security activities will strengthen the capacities of 150 farmers, 180 market gardeners, 150 herders and 75 beneficiaries of fattening activities. Livelihood activities will support 1,820 individuals. Finally, REACH activities will continue to support humanitarian information in the Diffa region. In total, 9,037 people will benefit from this project.
