Under this 5-month project, IMPACT via its inter-agency initiative REACH and UNOSAT aims to address information gaps currently hampering humanitarian response in Myanmar tackle key gaps by providing actionable data to aid providers operating in Myanmar. The remote sensing damage assessments will provide a clearer understanding to key partners of extent of shelter and infrastructure-related damage, providing a proxy for verifying scales and timings of displacements, and supporting understanding on the evolution of conflict in targeted areas. The information will be available to regional and global actors.
