This 12-month project aims to contribute to improving the socio-economic situation of the Matam region through the creation of stable income opportunities, and targets 1,635 people through a three-pronged strategy; (1) supporting youth in the framework of collective IGAs, (2) training returnees in solar pump installation and maintenance techniques within a service providers network, (3) supporting women's groups in capacity building aimed at increasing income and setting up community-based savings management systems.
