Reinforcing Civil Protection and Preparedness for Conflict Escalation in Ukraine

During this 12 month intervention, ACTED, IMPACT, and R2P will work together and in close collaboration with local authorities and key stakeholders to reinforce civil protection capacity, and preparedness for conflict escalation in three oblasts (TBC, but possibly Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Kyiv and/or Odesa), through targeted support for (1) emergency planning; (2) material support; (3) capacity building for social institutions, public servants and first responders; (4) mapping, stock-taking and light repairs of bomb shelters; and (5) communication and awareness-raising activities.
