June 2020
April 2021

This six-month project (June 2020 – December 2020) aims to address the immediate socio-economic impacts of COVID-19 in Lebanon by providing subsistence support for host and refugee populations. This will be done through providing livelihood assets support as well as technical support and market linkages to 28 entities (including MSMEs, small-holder farmers and cooperatives) and 590 direct beneficiaries (as either MSME/cooperative members, farmers or laborers) to expand production and continue to produce food for the communities and generate income. The project will be implemented in the South governorate of Lebanon as well as in the Bekaa. Trainings to the laborers/members of each MSME/cooperatives will be provided via cash for training modality, and technical trainings MSME/cooperatives will be provided with CfW. Direct financial/in-kind support will also be administered to scale up produce.
