Pakistan Humanitarian Action
August 2020
February 2021

The proposed 8-month emergency intervention aims at responding to food insecurity and the pandemic emergency in district Umerkot (Sindh) and rural Peshawar (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), that have restricted movement and thus livelihood opportunities of the people, resulting in further deteriorating food insecurity among communities already vulnerable and unable to meet their basic life-saving needs. The proposed intervention will see ACTED providing emergency food assistance to 2,860 extremely vulnerable HHs (20,020 individuals) through cash assistance modality.
