Reducing Disaster Risk Vulnerability in Eastern Ukraine – Phase II

This 24-month project will seek to improve understanding of, promote and take measures towards preparedness to disaster risks in government-controlled areas (GCA) of Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts. Implemented by an ACTED-led Consortium (including IMPACT), and benefitting 222,348 individuals and 45 organizations, the intervention aims to promote sound disaster risk management in Ukraine.

The key outputs of the intervention will include mitigation/response plans, Area-Based Risk Assessments, wildfire risk analysis, Water Risk Assessments and Water and Sanitation Safety Plans, mobile application, public awareness campaign, trainings and sessions, and desk studies.
