Rebuilding governance in Yemen

Yemen Civil society and effective governance
January 2018
June 2021

This 3-year project funded by EuropeAid aims to enhance the resilience and self-reliance of conflict-affected communities in Yemen, creating the conditions for long-term reconstruction and development, through supporting civil society and local councils. ACTED will build the capacity of 60 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the rural areas of Raymah, Hodeidah, Ibb, and Al Dhale’e governorates. ACTED will develop an individually tailored training plan based on the assessed needs of each CSO and provide grants to trained CSOs to implement priority projects in the areas of livelihoods, WASH, livestock and agriculture, electricity and access to power; and community infrastructure.
