Recent flooding in the Gedo Region of Somalia has led to displacement, loss of livelihoods, and a significant rise in unmet humanitarian needs. This 45-day emergency response aims to deliver rapid cash transfers to vulnerable households affected by the flooding, improving the ability of beneficiaries to meet their most critical and unmet needs. The Action will be implemented in partnership with the national NGO SADO, and will deliver cash assistance via mobile money transfers (MMT) to 900 vulnerable households, equivalent to 5,400 persons.
