Provision of winterization assistance to conflict-affected populations in Ukraine and Romania

This 7-month intervention aims to provide essential winterization assistance to conflict-affected populations inside Ukraine, and to Ukrainian refugees in Romania. In Eastern and Northern Ukraine specifically, ACTED will provide financial assistance for winterization needs through the provision of cash for utilities and heating (410EUR/HH) to 1,860 vulnerable households in isolated living conditions and conflict areas. Two grants will also be attributed to local CSOs to distribute 2,500 heaters to households living in areas without access to centralised heating. Finally, ACTED will conduct infrastructure rehabilitation works in six collective centers (benefiting 660 individuals) and procure contingency generators and fuel (benefiting 2,000 individuals).
