This 10-month project aims to increase the access to sustainable drinking water sources, improve the hygiene practices, and ensure an open defecation free environment fostering social cohesion. The project will target 17,750 individuals, including refugees, IDPs, returnees and vulnerable host communities in 5 villages in Bau County, to enhance knowledge on CLTS and adequate hygiene practices. A total of 5,550 people in targeted schools and primary health centers will have access to basic sanitation facilities; 6,150 people will acquire knowledge to adopt adequate sanitation and hygiene practices. A total of 6,000 people will also benefit from drinking water facilities.
