Shabelle River water levels continues to rise as more families are displaced from their homes in Belet Weyne, which has led to displacement, loss of livelihoods, and a significant rise in unmet humanitarian needs. This 45-day emergency response aims to respond to these needs and to provide essential protection interventions to families, particularly women and children impacted by recent floods and displacement in Belet Weywe. The Action will be implemented in partnership with the national NGO SSWC, and will deliver dignity kits and solar lamps as well as provide psychosocial support session for women and children, benefitting to 4963 households.
