The overall objective of the project is to assess the early impact of the COVID-19 crisis on MSMEs in Kyrgyzstan and identify their needs. The specific objectives include to identify if and what kind of impact COVID-19 has had on MSMEs; to identify the different impact of the COVID-19 crisis on different MSME subsectors; and to identify what kind of impact the crisis has had on the service-providing MSMEs in at least eight sectors of the economy. To achieve the project goals, ACTED will conduct phone interviews among their 600 randomly-selected members. The sample will include people from all seven provinces of the country. The project will run from 17 April until 16 May 2020.
