Project to improve access to water, hygiene and sanitation for host populations in the Mbomou prefecture

The project aims to facilitate access to essential water, hygiene and sanitation services for people affected by the current security crisis in CAR in the Mbomou prefecture. The project will reach 3,000 people in the host population, i.e. 500 households. The objective of the project is to facilitate access to basic water, hygiene and sanitation (WASH) infrastructure for the host communities in the sub-prefectures of Bangassou, Ouango and/or Gambo, in order to reduce public health risks related to waterborne diseases and thus create a healthy environment conducive to human development.
