Preparation of local authorities and communities in Banfora (Cascades) and Bobo-Dioulasso (Hauts-Bassins) for the massive reception of IDPs

This 15-month project in the urban centres of the Cascades (Banfora) and Hauts-Bassins (Bobo-Dioulasso) regions consists of preparing the local authorities and communities for the massive reception of internally displaced persons (IDPs). Based on territorial assessments, the AGORA initiative will be adopted to develop a contingency plan. Local authorities and communities will be prepared (technically and materially) and sensitized to the massive reception of IDPs. A modified crisis is also included to provide an emergency response in the event of a massive influx of IDPs.
