Pillar 2 and 3: Localized and more accountable, inclusive and coordinated humanitarian response across pockets of vulnerability across Baalbek and a second location to be identified

In the framework of the proposed action, over the duration of 12 months, 8 CSOs in Beirut and Baalbek will be receiving contextualized and tailored organizational and technical capacity-building through training, mentoring, and coaching activities. These trainings aim to strengthen the CSOs’ humanitarian response in order to promote an innovative approach towards inclusive localization. Four of the grassroot organizations will be receiving sub-grants to implement emergency response projects in line with the Emergency response Plan and Advocacy. twelve men and twelve women from the CSO staff from the host communities will be directly targeted throughout the implementation of the technical capacity building training, while the sub-grant initiatives will target 250 beneficiaries for each of the four supported CSOs.
