The 12-month project aims at providing life-saving assistance and mitigating health and environmental hazards to vulnerable populations in Bau, Geissan and Kurmuk counties, Blue Nile. To achieve this objective, ACTED, in a consortium with International Medical Corps Croatia, will provide health, nutrition, WASH and food security support to an estimate total of 58,313 beneficiaries, composed of IDPs, refugees, returnees and members of the host communities. This will be achieved through targeted assistance prioritizing those with the greatest needs while increasing community capacity and resilience to absorb shocks and improve the living standards on the longer term.

Provision of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Services including CLTS interventions among vulnerable communities in SPLM-N controlled areas of Ulu, Bau localities, Blue Nile state.
General Food Assistance for refugee population in Um Rakuba, Tunaydbah, Village 8 and Babikri, Gedaref state
