Localized Multi-Hazard Anticipatory Action Facility Pakistan

Pakistan Humanitarian Action
September 2023
November 2023

The primary objective of project is to raise awareness and enhance preparedness for the monsoon floods, ultimately minimizing their impacts on vulnerable communities in Dadu district Sindh. To achieve this, the project will focus on providing advanced warning systems that alert residents to the impending flood crisis. Through the dissemination of targeted guidance messages, we aim to mitigate the anticipated flooding and reduce the vulnerability of those most at risk.
Collaboration with relevant government authorities is crucial to the success of our anticipatory monsoon flood interventions. By aligning efforts, the project can maximize impacts and ensure a coordinated response. Additionally, they will conduct extensive awareness campaigns using local radio channels and various information, education, and communication (IEC) materials. These campaigns will extend to community gatherings, schools, and other platforms where we can effectively reach the target audience.
