The impact of the poor 2019 Gu’ rains and hot, dry conditions during the 2019 Jilaal season have led to worsening drought conditions in Somalia. As a result, the project will be implemented for a period of one year in Kismayo, Badhan and Baidoa, through WASH, CCCM and information management activities. The objective is to improve living conditions of crisis affected rural and IDP populations. The project will target 57,246 individuals who are drought affected, at risk of displacement and have high gaps in terms of access to WASH and shelter services.
