January 2021

Given the scale and extent of the disaster (flood) and needs for Shelter, WASH and FSL assistance for affected vulnerable communities and gap to provide lifesaving assistance, four districts are prioritized for the intervention where ACTED will intervene to meet the needs of the most affected. ACTED proposes a four month emergency intervention that aims to mobilize resources and build upon existing capacities to respond to the flood emergency in five districts namely, Umerkot, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, and Badin in Sindh.
