Independent third party monitoring to support and optimise the delivery of UK aid in northeastern Nigeria

Nigeria Emergencies and disaster resilience
July 2019
March 2021

The implementation of the Third Party Monitoring programme will reduce risks associated with investments in humanitarian aid by DFID across North East Nigeria through regular, reliable and predictable monitoring of DFID’s NENTAD partners’ programmes. The Consortium will carry out systematic and regular visits to DFID-funded humanitarian project sites to verify the approach taken by implementing partners in terms of quality and results. IMPACT will provide an objective, neutral, standardized and independent view across the entire NENTAD portfolio, with independent evidence that DFID partners are delivering expected results.
