Continued violent conflicts in South Sudan have left millions face a complex, deeprooted humanitarian crisis in the world with over 7million population believed to be at brink of starvation. This 1year project will target over 1,950 beneficiaries in Maridi-Western Equatoria with activities including; enhancing market linkages and access to resources such as 15km access road, 12 shallow wells and fencing vegetable gardens, distribution of seeds and tools to IDPs, formaiton and training of 35 farmer field schools, establishmen of 35 demo plots, formation of 30 seed multiplication farms, post harvest training, beekeeping. This project also has REACH component with activities including; mapping of livestock movements and trade, market monitoring and livelihoods and conflicts.
