Occupied Palestinian Territory - OPT Humanitarian Action
April 2020
July 2020

Shortages and longstanding challenges severely affect the capacity of the Palestinians in Gaza to cope with an expected increase in CoVid-19 cases. The project falls into the OPT COVID-19 Response Plan and aims to support the priorities identified by the Shelter and Health Clusters in Gaza Strip. During a 3 month period, ACTED will provide 2000 customized hygiene kits (for males, females and children) and 15 cleaning kits to the quarantine facilities in Rafah, Middle Area and Khan Younis governorates in the Gaza Strip. In addition, the action will deliver hygiene kits to 1150 vulnerable households at higher risk of being affected by COVID-19. ACTED will distribute the purchased kits based on the emerging needs of quarantine centers and vulnerable households.
