Improved access of children to safe and inclusive learning environments through Bayti Child Resilience Centers

Libya Zero Exclusion
December 2019
December 2020

Given the reduced capacity of local and national authorities to deliver critical services to communities, ACTED will help to fill the informal education and protection service delivery gaps through this year-long action (December 2019-December 2020). ACTED will simultaneously strengthen the capacities of local child protection actors, such as local CSOs, teachers, members from the Psychological Counselling Units, and relevant civil servants in the municipalities and in the Ministry of Education responsible for providing child protection and education services to vulnerable children – helping to ensure that children of all backgrounds have access to quality and inclusive services and attain their fundamental rights. A total of 3915 children will be targeted through this project, in addition to 860 community members/ local stakeholders/ parents/ caregivers.
