Due to the high levels of food insecurity in Upper Nile, ACTED is aiming to address the immediate needs of the most vulnerable people through a range of activities targeting food security. Through this project, ACTED will conduct two activities. ACTED will continue to target vulnerable populations in Maban through General Food Distributions (GFDs) targeting 42,241 beneficiaries in Kaya and Gendrassa camps. In addition, ACTED will target 7 schools with a School Feeding (SF) programme reaching 3,033 beneficiaries. The project will operate in Maban for 12 months, starting in January 2020.
