In cooperation with Mercy Corps under the USDA McGovern-Dole International Food For Education and Child Nutrition Program, ACTED will ensure the construction and rehabilitation of preschool kitchens and WASH infrastructures in up to 35 preschools in the Surkhandarya region. The 12-month project (1st August 2020 until 31st July 2021) aims to improve access to potable water and basic sanitation, and foster food security for 3-6 years old schoolchildren, while promoting hygiene best practices among preschools through trainings.
