In the context of the complex humanitarian crisis in the Lake Chad basin, this project aims to ensure food and nutritional security for displaced populations (IDPs and refugees) in the Daboua sub-prefecture sites. ACTED will thus provide food assistance for 11 months, in the form of general monthly food distributions for 36,449 people, and food supplements for the prevention of malnutrition for 2,510 children aged 6 to 23 months. Families will also be made aware of the prevention, identification and treatment of acute malnutrition.
