Food and Livelihood Support for Vulnerable Populations in the Lake Province, Chad

This 11-month project will provide food and nutritional support to 53,277 beneficiaries in the Lac province. In Fouli department, ACTED will support 24,111 IDPs through general food distributions, while in Mamdi department 29,166 IDPs will be supported through cash distributions.
ACTED will accompany these activities by distributing CSB++ inputs to 3,996 children (2,188 children in Mamdi, and 1,808 children in Fouli from 6 to 23 months old in the framework of malnutrition prevention. In addition to the distributions, awareness-raising sessions on good food and nutritional practices will also be conducted. These awareness-raising sessions will be relayed by the community relays in order to increase their impact and thus the implementation of good practices to fight against malnutrition.
