Through this 16-month project, ACTED will promote resilience and economic recovery of vulnerable communities in Sheikhan district through the provision of short and longer term employment opportunities. More specifically, the project will benefit 1,200 vulnerable households with CfW opportunities for the rehabilitation of community infrastructure. Moreover, ACTED will provide grants to 300 individuals for asset replacement, start-ups and business expansion, as well as job placement opportunities for 50 young women and men.
