Enhancing social cohesion in Rakhine State through community-based projects and protection training for CSOs

This 12-month project provides assistance to vulnerable households, focusing on youth, IDPs, and women, in Sittwe; Pauktaw; and Kyaukphyu townships (Rakhine State). Acted will: (1) Enhance social cohesion and peaceful relationships through community-based projects; and (2) Strengthen community-based protection through CSO engagement and training. This will be achieved by providing Business Development and Entrepreneurship (BDE) training for 48 youths and BDE grants, and community projects implemented with 75 youths employed as daily labour. In addition, Acted will conduct three training on protection mainstreaming for local CSOs. The project will target a total of 2,589 direct individuals.
