Emergency WASH and Shelter Assistance to Flood Affected Households in the Republic of Congo

In the framework of the project “Emergency Water, Sanitation and Shelter Assistance for Flood Affected Households in the Republic of Congo” ACTED will assist 12,000 people affected by the 2020 floods in the Likouala Department, particularly in the districts of Impfondo, Dongou, Betou and Liranga. The assistance will include shelter and WASH assistance which will result in the construction of 10 latrine blocks, the distribution of 1,250 hygiene kits and 1,480 NFI shelter kits and the sensitization of beneficiaries on best WASH and Covid-19 prevention practices.
