December 2020

ACTED is proposing a 6-month response in 6 different localities to directly benefit an estimated 200 000 beneficiaries for a collective preventive response trough massive risk communication, hygiene promotion and community relays identification and training. Among them 43,350 direct beneficiaries (50% host, 50% IDPs) will benefit of an individual preventive response through hand-washing kits distribution and hygiene sensitizations for the most vulnerable households. Although the proposed response focuses mainly on activities within WASH and Health sectors, Protection activities has been integrated through the setting up of child spaces or clews for prevention and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) response.
