ACTED will implement an 18-month intervention across the Prefecture of Basse-Kotto, Haute-Kotto, Mbomou, and Haut-Mbomou. The proposed intervention is based on two complementary pillars and will directly target up 37,500 individuals. On the first hand, a Food Security pillar will allow ACTED to respond promptly to local crises, notably those linked to massive return movements or sudden displacements On the other hand, through some essential complementary activities linked to livestock ACTED wishes to strengthen the long-term impact of the intervention. Whilst the first pillar is mostly, but not only, directed at IDPs and returnees (31,500 individuals), the second one is mostly crafted to the need of the host communities (6,000 individuals).
