Afghanistan Humanitarian Action
November 2021
December 2022

ACTED will implement a twelve-month project in Balkh, Jawzjan, Takhar, Badghis and Baghlan targeting 16,800 vulnerable and drought-affected households as well as smallholder farmers and livestock owners, with agricultural and livelihoods intervention. The project intends to mitigate the impacts of the drought conditions by improving agricultural and livestock production and reduce food insecurity for the upcoming cultivation seasons, as well as provide small-scale livelihoods assistance to reduce income gaps and lack of economic opportunities for more urban households.
