Le projet intitulé « Education Cannot Wait Facilitated Multi-Year Resilience Programme 2019 – 2021 » vise à appuyer 5,349 enfants dans les communautés de Zémio et Obo par une intervention en éducation. ACTED appuiera à la construction de 4 ETAPEs, la réhabilitation de 12 écoles, la dotation en matériel scolaire, la formation de 42 Maîtres Parents, l’appui à 12 associations de parents d’élèves, mettra en œuvre des campagnes de sensibilisation ainsi que des cours de rattrapage scolaire afin de permettre à 1200 enfants déscolarisés de rejoindre le cursus formel. Le projet permettra également à 200 jeunes de bénéficier de formations professionnalisantes.
REACH mettra en œuvre des activités de mapping des infrastructures éducatives dans les zones prioritaires définies par le cluster éducation afin d’informer au mieux sur les besoins en éducation, par le biais de factsheets. Les équipes de REACH évalueront également les barrières à l’éducation pour les populations déplacées.
