Economically empowering vulnerable and at-risk women in conflict-affected communities of Kayah, South and North Shan

To improve access to income-generating opportunities of the conflict affected and at-risk women, under this 4-month project implementation, Acted and its partners will provide livelihood assistance to a total of 1,200 conflicted-affected women in Kayah, South Shan and North Shan state. Among 1,200 beneficiaries, 500 women who do not have a business will receive skill training and financial assistance for their establishment of a small business. All 1,200 beneficiaries will benefit from Business Development and Enterprise training and market linkage support for economic empowerment, and an awareness session on GBV and PSEA to mitigate protection risks.
