Early Action Emergency Drought Cash Response in Turkana County, Kenya

This project trigger two cycles of cash distribution (25 days after the release of the funds and 25 days after the first instalment) for the 800 most vulnerable HHs (4,800 individuals) in Turkana North as a response to the Early Action Threshold showing alerting forecast levels of forage condition, livestock body condition and vegetation deterioration in the upcoming months. It will also be a complementarity action to the Early Action Protocol activities currently implemented by ACTED (Isiolo, Marsabit and Turkana counties).
