Drought Emergency Response for Food and Nutrition Security (DERF)

Under this 12-month project, ACTED will increase access to diverse and nutritious food through the provision of life saving unconditional cash transfer (UCT) with a focus on drought affected households in Samburu. In addition, ACTED will improve access to sustainable water supply, sanitation infrastructure and hygiene (WASH) through the provision of household and school hygiene promotion, distribution of WASH NFIs, support to the Borehole Rapid Response Teams, and water trucking.
