Coordinated Implementation of Multipurpose Cash Assistance to Support Somali Households Affected by Crisis

Through this 12-months project, the Somalia Cash Consortium intends to address the needs of the most vulnerable disaster affected households by providing multi-purpose unrestricted cash transfer. ACTED’s involvement in this project aims at supporting 2,358 vulnerable households in Hargeisa IDP sites of Woqooyi Galbeed district through unconditional cash transfers with each beneficiary receiving USD 60 per month through six mobile money transfers. Moreover, ACTED will support 341 households in El-Awayne district of Sanaag, through UCT with each beneficiary receiving USD 85 per month through six mobile money transfers.
