Kenya Emergencies and disaster resilience
April 2019
March 2020

The project duration shall be 12 months and will be implemented in Dadaab refugee complex, in Garissa County, Kenya. Close to 240,000 mostly Somali refugees reside in Dadaab camps and are vulnerable to pressure to return, despite the continued uncertain situation in Somalia, thereby triggering the need for strengthened information on return intentions, needs and vulnerabilities of the refugees. REACH will conduct a series of assessments in Dadaab aimed at understanding the return intentions and needs of the refugees. REACH will also build the capacity of agencies operating in Dadaab on assessments and mapping. Beneficiaries for this project are about 32 agencies directly implementing projects in Dadaab refugee complex.
