Coordinated Action for Multi-Sector Programming in Camp and Out-of-Camp Settings

This three year programme aims to meet the immediate needs of about 600 000 displaced people in the most vulnerable in an out of camp settings in Syria, Iraq, Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, Somalia, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, and CAR supporting multi sectorial response and prioritization of response by humanitarian actors through information management support (REACH), as well as through coordination and delivery of essential, life-saving services to the most in need. Throughout the programme, ACTED will strive to raise local actors’ capacity and empower them to take over part of the activities in the longer term.

Current projects

Support children’s equitable and inclusive access to quality education programs in a safe learning environment through a multi-sectoral emergency response in education (including child protection) and EHA in Kembé Sub-Prefecture
Organizing a community-based, solidarity-based and sustainable agriculture approach to fight poverty in the commune of Zangandou Mada Bazouma, Mbomou Prefecture – Phase II
Project to improve access to water, hygiene and sanitation for host populations in the Mbomou prefecture
Support for the social and economic reintegration of ex-combatants
To contribute to the improvement of the food security of the population of the commune of Pladama Ouaka through an emergency assistance
Food security response for displaced persons and the host population of Ippy through support for market gardening and food crops
REACH Initiative: Strengthening humanitarian planning and coordination for 2023 through multi-sectoral assessments
