Child protection assessment in Dadaab

Kenya Humanitarian Action
November 2021
March 2022

Through this research project using a mixed-methods approach, IMPACT will seek to understand what are the specific needs of asylum seekers and refugees in Dadaab in relation to protection and access to services, and how does this differ based on gender, age, household composition, ethnicity, and legal status. IMPACT will thereby identify which groups are the most vulnerable (least able to access services), with a focus on women, girls and boys. Through identification of needs, the objective is to better recognize and prevent harm and to better involve vulnerable people in the design and implementation of humanitarian actions.
