Cash for Education for 9,031 households in Nuristan province

Under this project, ACTED will provide cash for education to 9031 vulnerable families in Nuristan. All the households will be selected based on a range of criteria including having at least one adolescent girl between 10 and 18 years old and specific level of vulnerability linked to food insecurity and negative coping mechanism. School aged children, and especially girls, will benefit from this intervention to promote access to education. Additionally, the Social Behavior Change activities will benefit the entire community through SBC training. ACTED will conduct beneficiary registration as well as post distribution monitoring/ exit survey using UNICEF’s tools (HOPE).
