Through support for market and species assessment and analysis, REACH aims to ensure that humanitarian actors have information to understand the feasibility and impact of market and species responses, in particular the possible negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as in-depth data on market dynamics and price fluctuations, in two main areas: continued support, expansion and improvement of the common market surveillance system, and the provision of direct technical support to the Species Working Group. REACH will implement three main activities during this one-year project:
