Building Resilience, Inclusion and Social Cohesion in the Fezzan

Libya Humanitarian Action
November 2020
April 2021

This 2-year project is implemented in Sebha and Ubari with the overall objective to improve resilience and strengthen protection of migrants, IDPs, returnees and host communities. Specifically, ACTED aims to enhance the self-sufficiency of migrants, IDPs, returnees and host communities and to expand the culture of peace and social cohesion. This will be reached by developing their market-related skills and knowledge, and by reinforcing the role of local actors in implementing economic development initiatives; as well as by increasing the skills and knowledge of local protection actors, by making referral services accessible to vulnerable groups, and by raising awareness on social cohesion and protection amount different stakeholders.
