Libya Emergencies and disaster resilience
January 2020
March 2021

The proposed intervention seeks to address the lifesaving needs of conflict-affected populations (both Libyan and non-Libyans) across East and South of Libya, and improve their access to essential goods, protection and lifesaving assistance. The project will provide multi-sectoral cash assistance to 180 internally displaced, non-displaced, and returnee households (100 in the East and 80 in the South). It will also respond to the acute vulnerability of conflict-affected populations access to protection assistance in Benghazi and Sebha. REACH, aims to support the Cash Working Group (CWG), thorough the Joint Market Monitoring Initiative (JMMI), and will conduct a countrywide Multi Sector Needs Assessment (MSNA) for refugees and migrants. Finally, ACTED will conduct participatory community assessments in Benghazi and Sebha to identify opportunities to strengthen social cohesion and community resilience.
