Assessment and information management support to UNHCR: IDPs and refugees residing in and out of formal camps, Iraq

Iraq Humanitarian Action
January 2020
December 2020

Under this 12-month project, IMPACT through REACH Initiative will continue contributing to the improvement of service delivery and ensure accountability to targeted IDP and Refugee households through the continuation of Process and Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) activities for the UNHCR-provided assistance nationwide. This action will focus on provision of monitoring activities and information products to strengthen and support the implementation of effective winterization strategies, basic needs assistance distributions through cash and in-kind modalities, and legal assistance for target beneficiaries of UNHCR. Additionally, REACH will inform effective WASH programming through a comprehensive assessment of WASH needs in four camps in Erbil Governorate as well as support the National Protection Cluster in Iraq through an in-depth sectorial assessment focusing on civil documentation and housing, land and property (HLP) needs of IDPs and returnees. Lastly, REACH will support an evidence-based response to conflict-affected populations displaced from North-East Syria (NES) to the KR-I through displacement assessments.
