Assessing the Accessibility and Inclusiveness of Distance Learning in Kyrgyzstan project

Kyrgyzstan Access to Basic Services
July 2020
September 2020

ACTED is going to conduct a survey among teachers, households, and senior students to identify gaps in access to remote learning solutions among children and students across Kyrgyzstan during the COVID-19 pandemic, and formulate possible actions to address the causes of exclusion. The integrated assessment will focus on identifying the demographic characteristics and geographic locations of students excluded from distance learning, notably with or without access to smartphones, computers and TV sets and not actively participating in remote learning classes. Additionally, the survey will reveal any other hindrances in distance learning, such as lack of remote learning tools that can be accessed by children with disabilities and/or children from minority ethnic and language groups.
